Jake Jacobsen - 4th Grade - My Favorite Air-Sport - Watercolor Painting wtih Sharpie
It's a great time in the art room - we're on the verge or big projects for a few grades! 3D art with Mrs. Jorvig's kindergarteners, Interdisciplinary and multi-media art with Ms. O'Connor's class, sculptures in the 4th and 6th grades, and self portraits in 7th grade. Oh, and of course, the MUCH anticipated 8th grade project - The Bowling Pins!
Now, this isn't to say none of our other grades have anything exciting going on in art class, because they certainly do! Mrs. Gross's class has a Keith Haring-style project well underway, and Ms. Cook's 4th graders will complete a watercolor/symmetry project shortly after returning from spring break. 5th graders will be finishing off their Native American inspired weaving project in April, and the entire 6th grade is right in the middle of their very own Pop Art paintings.
As always, please take the time to scroll down to the bottom of my Gallery page - that's where the latest photos of student artwork get shown off. Enjoy what you see, and make sure to have a wonderful and relaxing spring break!
